Introducing Me!

Hi there! Welcome to my website!! My name is Katherine, I’m so glad you’re here! I wanted to do this post just to say hey and introduce myself to you! Whether you’re a fellow photographer or you're looking for someone to capture your wedding day, I hope this post will let you get to know me a bit better!

I started taking photos professionally about 3 years ago, but I’ve always had a camera in my hand. I love documenting moments and capturing memories, I was definitely the kid photographing every moment on family vacations (and still am!). I currently am working on my business degree at Valencia, and going to UCF soon! I love learning new things, and I’m constantly listening to podcasts on my drives to and from campus.

I’m the oldest of four kids, and family is everything to me! I’m pretty much a second mom to my siblings, they definitely keep life interesting. Never a dull moment at the Murphy house! I’ve lived in Central Florida my whole life, and I’m currently based out of Winter Park. I love this little town, and I’m so thankful to live in such a pretty place.

Faith is a huge part of my life, my church is my second home. I sing in my church choir, and while I’m no Lauren Daigle, I love it so much! I participate in a ton of different groups and activities at church and love working with kids.

When I’m not working or going to school, I love to just relax. Either going to the pool, working out, or just watching Netflix are some of my favorite ways to relax. I will forever be obsessed with The Office, it just never gets old. I also love playing and listening to music. I played violin throughout high school and picked up some other instruments along the way. Concerts are my favorite, and I’m a massive Harry Styles fan for sure.

I got into weddings and couples photography more recently, and it has brought so much joy to my life. I have a big family, and weddings have always been these huge family reunions that are just too much fun. I love being apart of that day for other people, and seriously feel like it’s the most exciting job on the planet. What a gift to be able to capture weddings on the weekends! I have so much fun doing it, and can’t imagine doing anything else.
