Hanna + Kyle | Italy Destination Wedding

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since the most magical weekend in Northern Italy! I met Hanna and Kyle in Austin, Texas. We took their engagement photos at a park outside of the city and immediately hit it off. They were so much fun to shoot with, and when they asked me to come to Italy to photograph their wedding it felt like a dream! A few months later, my friend and assistant for the trip, Sabrina and I, flew to Italy (my first time in Europe), to celebrate this sweet couple! It couldn’t have been a more exciting and joyful adventure!

The weekend started with a welcome dinner at Conti Thun, a stunning vineyard in Northern Italy. All of their closest friends and family joined them, giving beautiful speeches and sharing a delicious meal. The next day, we took a boat to Isola del Garda for their wedding day! The day was perfect, at the most stunning venue with the kindest people. We felt so welcomed into the intimate guest list, swept up in the excitement of being abroad to celebrate Hanna and Kyle’s big day. Looking through this gallery brings me so much joy, it was such a dream come true creatively. The location, the dress, the flowers were all stunning. But I think my favorite set of photos are the last couple on this blog post. Hanna and Kyle’s blurry smiles at the end of the most amazing day. To me, it encapsulates all of the excitement of this dream-like weekend. It was such an honor to be invited into this celebration and I’m so excited to be sharing the images we created.
